Good for the price, but not without issues This is a pretty well put together bed. Made of solid wood and sturdy. Quality control seems to have taken a day off though. The stain between the headboard and foot board slats was uneven and there was even an impression of a screw pressed into the top of the foot board. Fortunately, it’s not really obvious. Buyer Beware What a nightmare!! Our bed was delivered in the timeframe promised. We opened the boxes and the nightmare began. Poor Materials. Read this review before buying. While we liked the design of the bunk bed for our 3 and 6 year old girls, and didn’t mind some of the smaller assembly issues that other reviewers have mentions, we did have a BIG DEFECT. The ledge on the side rail that holds the slats tore off approximately 20″ after one week of use. Clearly this item is defective or is of poor quality.
