Futon was everything I expected, it will make a suitable replacement for couch/bed while I am in a smaller living space.Word of warning however, my futon was damaged when it was delivered. I assume the carrier is actually at fault for this, they punctured the box on the side and so I have a fabulous rip about 1.5 inches long on the seating portion of the futon.I have chosen not to RMA this becuse its pretty likely to happen again. many of the products I order from amazon…
This is a big piece of furniture – a lot larger than I expected. The box was battered but nothing is wrong with the item. First off, the legs and instructions are zipped into the underside of one of the cushions. Once opened lay on the side and open up the two pieces that are hinged together – then you can find the instructions. When opening and assembling – it’s not only large, it’s quite heavy. Moving the box would normally take two people unless you have a goof like here – pick it up…
