You get what you pay for I purchased this bed two years ago when I moved into a new apartment. Putting it together was frustrating, but manageable. This bed was fine. It wasn’t great, it did not survive my attempt to move it, and the slippery platform surface allowed the mattress to move around a lot and led to a lot of bruised shins. Great platform bed Bed frame is heavy and solid which I prefer in furniture (especially since we bought for our teenaged son). Assembly took a bit of time but wasn’t horrible.
