If I can put this together, anyone can! OK, so to everyone complaining about how hard it is to put together, I just did this in under three hours and weight 120 soaking wet while 3 cats climbed all over everything. The only thing I needed help w/ was bringing the box inside (it’s BIG and long).While yes, some of the holes weren’t 100% lined up I was still able to get everything in place and tightened well. Just pay attention to your instructions to double check you have the boards going the right way. Make sure you have a good…
Would be awesome if all parts were actually drilled (Missing holes) The frame parts are of pretty decent quality and we are happy with the finished assembly.BUT! 3 parts had missing holes in the edges. Luckily I am handy and had all necessary tools on hand to drill them myself (12 holes in all) Most people wont want to or can’t do that. So I don’t recommend this product. I also ordered the matching headboard and will review its issues on its own product page but needless to say it had some too.I won’t be buying any more South Shore…
Garbage… Quite possibly the worst piece of furniture I have ever had to build. Pieces scratched. The top boards that make the bed base did not even out when putting the base board that holds the mattress down. The slats had to be unscrewed to do it and then jimmied back in place. The drawer doesn’t fit in the sliders and now just sits under the bed. It looks decent and saved a few bucks but not worth the time. Only reason not returning is its heavy and I don’t want to pay for return ship. We shall see…
