a bit shaky but functional I needed a loft bed in my office as a place to tuck a kid or small adult when I have visitors, which isn’t too often. This one fits the bill for me. Takes up little space and fits right over my desk area. It is a bit shaky but I put it against a wall so I’m not worried, You can bolt it to the wall for more stability if you are positioned near a stud, but I’m not. Nice for the Price It is a little wobbly but it seems to be stable. I would rate 5 stars if it was more stable. The instructions are OK but not great. Look at all the holes carefully and make sure they are lined up. After we assembled the bed we had to take a piece off and turn it around in order to attach the ladder but all in all it was well worth the money. The ladder can be placed on either end of the bed which wasn’t in the description. We moved all the furniture in the bedroom before opening the box and…

Wobbly and creaky! Kinda rickety. One of the welds broke within the first week of use. I wouldn’t buy it again. Look for one with a sturdier construction. This one wobbles and creaks like crazy when my 80 lb son climbs the ladder.
