It served my intended application (connecting three bookcases together) adequately but make sure you give thought to how wide you want the screw and pocket heads to be. In retrospect (my fault, not the manufacturerâs), wider would have been better, as the gripping surface area after considering the width of the hole I had to drill was a bit limited. Of course you can always add washers to increase the effective surface area of contact with the shelves but I suspect most purchasers will not have…
