At first glance, this futon frame could easily be taken for a sofa frame. It has an angled back that’s solid and supportive. Its wood arm rests are perfect for resting elbows. Finished in dirty oak and crafted with Asian hardwood. Plush futon pad for comfy seating or sleeping is sold separately. Product Features Set

Solid. The frame is solid wood, not Ikea MDF garbage. Feels a lot more sturdier than my previous metal futon. It has a nice smooth finish to it and heads up it had a noticeable urethane/woody smell to it for about a week. Instructions were lacking but I was able to get it put together in about an hour or so. Would recommend having a second person help with setting and holding the plastic bed sliders into the arm frames.

This is a nice solid piece of furniture This is a nice solid piece of furniture. A little challenging to put together, but all of the pieces fit nicely.

Good quality, mildly difficult to assemble. I disliked the directions!! Not very easy to follow! Quite a bit of time to put together! It takes two people. There was one broken piece but was still able to put it together. Could be the reason it is very difficult to return to a seated position after have it down as a bed?? I may I’d gone a little thick on the mattress I chose? 10” is great to sleep on, but difficult to fold.
