Made of sturdy metal, the top bunk accommodates a standard twin-size mattress up to 6″ height and is bordered by full-length guardrails for optimal safety. A side ladder makes it easy to climb to the top bunk. Ideal for siblings or sleepovers, add the matching DHP Trundle bed underneath for extra sleeping space (trundle bed sold separately).

Pretty decent, appears durable/sturdy It arrived in one giant box and took several hours to assemble. Over 90 different bolt/nut connections all told. So, it’s a bit of work to get it set up.The good: It appears VERY sturdy. There is storage on what you would call the left and right sides. Oddly enough, with most configurations probably being set with drawers facing into the room and the other side against a wall, the wall side storage runs the length of the bed.
