BACK STORY
Some combination of moving around for work and reading “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up,” inspired us to finally free ourselves of our clunky furniture starting with where we started and finished our day – the bedroom.
We hit the interwebs looking for space-saving nightstands and found small nightstands of all kinds.. floating nightstands, narrow, skinny bedside tables but we wanted to serve folks like us, who didn’t want to invest in anything that looked or smelled like clunky furniture which would weigh us down from seeing the world.
A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Building a sustainable future is absolutely paramount to us. We’re proud to handcraft the BedShelfie™ out of Bamboo. Even though Bamboo is technically considered a grass, it’s harder than Oak and matures in just 3-5 years (vs 100 years for Oak). So it’s an incredible renewable resource.

You know, I really love how this product looks and feelsâwhich may seem weird, but considering it’s on my bed this matters to me. The feel and color of the wood texture is just, well, nice.Very useful tooâI have a small bedroom with no real room for a nightstand, so having a little shelf on the side of my bed is helpful for bedside storage of my phone, the book I’m reading, and my water bottle and earplugs.Def gonna buy this for a friend who just movedâgreat housewarming…
I purchased this nightstand because I enjoyed the usefulness of a bedside table, but the cheap folding bed shelf that I previously bought had not met my expectations. My initial nightstand was made of thick black plastic and had a section of the shelf that was made for being tucked underneath the mattress and on top of the box spring so it was not the most secure but it served the purpose on the most basic form. I was able to rest my pen and journal beside me but I never rested my iPad or phone…
