Could be improved. Assembly was good, quality seems fine.However the design of the drawers could be improved. They are not attached to the bed at all, they simply slide underneath freely. This might work OK on carpet, but on hardwood the drawers slide completely under the bed (past the front surface). This causes a couple issues – your fingers can get pinched between the bed and drawer face, and the drawers do not stay in any order once slide under the bed (not straight/aligned/parallel).
