Perfect for my 4 year old! Positives: extremely sturdy once put together, high enough to put stuff under the bed, but low enough that if my daughter falls out she won’t get hurt, nice matte black finish, doesn’t seem to scratch too easily (obviously if you’re trying to scratch it, you will… but it didn’t automatically scratch when I was banging the pieces together trying to put it together)Negatives: annoying to put together. I had to do some of the directions out of order and use some serious problem…
Not for those with high blood pressure Bed goes together fairly easy – until you realize that one of the holes in one of the pieces wasn’t drilled, and others are out of center. I happened to have a drill lying around, so I was able to drill my own hole in it to get it to fit, and to twist and bent the other peices to get the screws to go through properly. The bed doesn’t seem sturdy at all – as an adult I’m afraid to sit on it, and I’m sure it won’t last very long with my 7 year old playing on/around it, but we’ll see…
