It doesn’t shine brightly on the whole page of an average paperback.Edit: I have more qualms to mention about this since my initial review. The clamp seems to require a rough surface to get a good grip, so when I try to use it on my smooth, wood easel, it isn’t secure. Also, the goosenecks on the lights are annoying. They don’t stay in place, so I have to constantly fiddle with them to keep them…
