NOT a true full size bed! Full size beds are a standard 53 inches. Most box springs and mattress are thus 53 inches! The space between the two edges of this after installing the conversion kit is about an inch too big. I tried a bunkie board, a traditional box spring – nothing fits on top of these rails short of having to fit our own slats on top of the beams.
