Easy To Assemble, Comfortable This was fairly easy to assemble. It took about 15 minutes including reading the instructions. The futon is sleek and very contemporary. It looks great in my son’s room. Good thing since he commandeered it upon arrival. The fabric is a smooth, office blue linen-ish type fabric. It’s pretty neutral so it should go with most decor. Nice but not exactly “faux leather” I guess, technically, “faux leather” is anything that actually isn’t leather. Well this futon is covered in fabric that absolutely bears no resemblance to leather. So, according to the technical definition, NOT leather counts as FAUX leather.Having said that, this is quite a nice basic futon. It is light and it was pretty easy to screw in the legs that support it. We are actually using it as a temporary (?) replacement for our leather living room sofa as money is a little tight right now…
