Nice bed for any age The bed showed up at my house in great condition. It is in five boxes and all but one I could carry upstairs from my garage. There is one large box that contains the drawers and shelves already put together which is best moved with a small handtruck/2-wheeler. Once I had everything out of the boxes I inspected the wood and everything was in good shape and the color matched what was shown on the web site. My granddaughter loves this bed. It is made of solid wood, no particle board, and the merlot color is beautiful. We were missing parts but after a call to Amazon, they fixed the problem and sent the missing parts immediately. There was a delay in putting the bed together but once assembled, it was worth the wait. The price was right for this beautiful bed with dresser IN the design.
