It is well made and sturdy and the finish is flawless This bed is everything I hoped it would be for my 2 and 1/2 year old to move into post-crib! And she can grow into it for years and years to come. It will go much faster to assemble with 2 people and you will need help to support it for some steps, but my dad got it done mostly alone. It was missing a few wooden dowels, but I went and grabbed some at a Home Improvement Store. It is well made and sturdy and the finish is flawless. Fun and cool bed Assembly: need 2 people, the box was heavy to carry to the second floor watch out for your back. Instructions were a little confusing/ difficult to understand in certain times do to some pieces not having a letter or a number to set them apart.
