Kids adore it! Kids adore it. Took one adult and three kids a whole day to complete. Don’t tighten all screws until you are done and be careful not to strip the screw heads. Even though a power drill is not supposed to be used, you will need it or else your hand will ache from constant screwing. Instructions are ok… you have to think logically esp. if the space you are in is tight. The paint does smell and we are on our 3rd day and I’m still airing it out… its super cute… but like any bunk bed…

I would definitely invest in some type of wood for under the mattresses. I got this for my 2 girls for Christmas and they LOVE it! It’s gorgeous! I can’t tell you how big of a pain it was to put together bc Daddy Clause did that but I couldn’t be happier with it. We did go and get 2 pieces of plywood to make it more sturdy. The slats are flimsy and you can see them bowing under the bottom of my 40 lb daughter. Now that we added the plywood, I can easily sleep with her or sit on top for story time. 💜 Other than that, it’s beyond the beauty that I could show in…
