Just what I was looking for.
Got these to assemble a crib I’d built, found that the threads on the barrel nuts were rough in a number of the nuts. Had to go through a few to find the eight that threaded smoothly on to the bolts. Added some graphite to help ease things along. The nuts themselves appear to be cast and threaded alloy (zinc?) and are nonferrous and non-magnetic.Plastic divider box arrived damaged, as it’s thin and these are comparatively heavy. Not going to fault manufacturer for a carrier…
I purchased these to replace the hardware for a cabin bed. We used mainly the mid-sized bolts and they fit the bill. My husband and his buddy were the main assemblers of said bed and the main complaint I received was that they “cross threaded easily” and he pitched a few for that reason.
