This is very attractive for a bunk bed, not sterile and utilitarian in appearance, and can also be separated into a pair of twin beds. It took about three hours to assemble. We took great care during the installation of the slats, making sure that they had good purchase on the side rails which tended to bow out slightly until the slats were secured.
