Very good quality for price, not too hard to put together but instructions could have been a bit more clear I’ve bought furniture from the brand Coaster before and their quality was always, IMO, above average for the price. You don’t get the extreme high quality of solid oak furniture, but at the same time, it is significantly better than the particle board/MDF IKEA type furniture and for only a slight premium over IKEA prices. Manufacturing problems This is a beautiful bed. Steady, strong, elegant, solid wood. This bed is sold without mattress. You need a platform mattress, you don’t need a box spring. Drawers are decent size. Now you ask why I give only 3 stars. Wood was scratches in various places. 1 drawer need to be fixed. The drawer lead guide is crooked, thus the drawer does not close aligned w the wood wall. The tag was attached to the wood creating a nasty mark. Mold on bed I purchased a Coaster Mission Style Day Bed (White). When I opened the package, the wood flatbed (holds up mattress) had mold on it that was difficult to wipe off. I’m concerned because the bed is in the nursery. I called Coaster and they said someone would be in contact with me within 3 days. Nobody called. I called back a week later. Again, they said someone would call me back soon. Within a couple hours someone finally called me back. I explained that I was not happy with the mold on my wood…
