Excellent quality & value We needed bunk beds for occasional use when the grandsons stay so spent some time looking at the budget end of the market. Finally chose these on the basis of price, styling and other reviews. Have to say not disappointed; they are sturdy, easy to assemble and compare very well with more expensive beds seen in retail outlets. Have not tried the mattresses but they look fine at this price point.
Best Bed This is so easy to put together and very stable once it is finished. The picture shows the mattress as being on top of the frame but in fact a standard 4ft mattress sits below the side panels. I have a 5inch foam topper on top which cover the wooden edges and makes it more comfortable. My previous bed had storage underneath with a flat wooden top; these sprung slats are so much more comfortable. The headboard is shown as slatted but I used the other side which is plain. Very nice bunkbed for my children My chidren are turning 4 soon so it is time to transition them from cribs to proper toddler beds. Given the limited number of rooms and space in our house, we decided to purchase a bunkbed.
