Complete with a soft flocked top sleep surface, at 20″ this air bed is almost the height of a traditional box spring and mattress (which is typically 25″), so you or your guests are up off the floor, away from any cold drafts.Engineered with an comfort top construction, the Smart Air Beds Comfort Top Raised King Size Air Bed Mattress comes as close as you can get to a traditional mattress with regards to support and stability. The 23 gauge (.60 mm) super-thick, water proof flocked top and 14 gauge (.35 mm) sides and bottom give this air bed 600 lbs./272 kg. weight capacity. The whole bed has expertly electronically welded seams for long lasting quality. The included hand held powerful ETL listed A/C pump can have the mattress ready from box to bed in about 4 minutes. The bed uses standard king sheets (not included), and the fitted sheet is aided by the flocked topping and a well placed horizontal groove along all sides to limit sheet slippage. Patented anti-roll edges on the sides and at the foot and the head of the bed are a little bit higher, keeping you on the bed and off the floor. If you are wondering – “how can a king size air bed fit in a bag?” – well, simply open the patented 2-in-1 valves to release the air, roll and fold, and the bed will store neatly in the included storage bag – easy to keep in a linen closet, under a desk (for those of you who take naps at work) or anywhere with limited space. It may take a time or two for you to master this, but when all is said and done, the bed is about the size of a gym bag, easily stored in a closet. Note: this is not a traditional king size.

Very comfy We chose this bed because of it’s size, weight capacity and height. My husband and I are very large people, so most of the air beds we could not use because we exceeded the weight capacity. The king size is true to our regular king size. very roomy. And the height of 22″ was good too. Although I still had a bit of a hard time getting out of the bed because the sides are not firm like a regular bed. A very good bed!! I bought this to be my bed. It seemed strange to my husband but the price of a conventional king size mattress being over a thousand dollars convinced him to give it a try.
