Bigger than a standard twin mattress, but good. I know it’s not solid wood, but it’s solid enough. We are using this for our 3 year old toddler, but many times at night either mom or dad will lay with him and the bed doesn’t feel like it wouldn’t hold up. We haven’t tried moving the bed from the installed location, others have noted this can result in it falling apart, so I can’t review on that aspect. But it doesn’t creak or feel wobbly. The plastic corner guards are useless and have already fallen off without hardly being touched, and…

I bought this because I have a teen daughter who cannot clean under her bed and because she wanted a daybed type look and this turned sideways would be perfect as no need for headboard or footboard. Great bed for the price. It’s been a week now and it’s still very sturdy. I was able to assemble it and actually convert it into a storage bed with a partial longitudinal opening lid. The material kinda smells and you might have to check if this is something you can stand. the newer models claim their product is safe from harmful chemicals. I just dont know if this model is because the smell is a bit nauseating. I have to let it breath for some time until the chemical smell was tolerable.
