Excellent product, but it’s a PAIN to assemble We’re pretty experienced at assembling furniture. Most of our stuff is from Ikea, and when it wears out, we usually replace it with…stuff from Ikea. So we’ve assembled A LOT of furniture over the years. We chose this bed for a stupid reason: we could get it shipped by Prime, and not have to drive to Ikea! ok… can be improved upon the bed part and desk part comes in seperate boxes. do read the instruction for both fully before starting, or else you’ll have to undo some of the steps in order to install the desk.the assembly is extensive but pretty stright forward, doable by one person under 6 hours if you know what you’re doing. i would not recommend a woman to attempt it alone as it does require some heavy lifting. there are a lot of parts, and assembly is more difficult than a typical ikea piece. some parts…
