Kids adore it! Kids adore it. Took one adult and three kids a whole day to complete. Don’t tighten all screws until you are done and be careful not to strip the screw heads. Even though a power drill is not supposed to be used, you will need it or else your hand will ache from constant screwing. Instructions are ok… you have to think logically esp. if the space you are in is tight. The paint does smell and we are on our 3rd day and I’m still airing it out… its super cute… but like any bunk bed…

GREAT FIRST BED I am a single mom and I put this together myself. It’s well-made and pretty simple. Use a battery powered screw driver (less power than a drill and worked perfectly). My daughter loves it and it’s very sturdy. The cons are the smell and the curtains sticking. I aired the wood out for a couple weeks and the smell is still strong a month in. The paint fumes and wood smell is very strong. The curtain panels don’t hold – I also had to glue them. My 2-year old loves it. Great for converting from a…
