Sturdy(ish) First thing’s first, this bed is beautiful and it was easy to assemble, although the hex screws that came with it and leave a lot to be desired since they get stripped after only about 3 slips.The bed is sturdy, in that it doesn’t shake, but I have my misgivings about is ability to support me. Nice looking, but question the sturdiness of the railing system. Product arrived with some cosmetic damages, assuming it was done during transport. Product should have been better packaged to withstand the transport. Railing system to the stairs was constructed to go on the left of bed, but do to space constrictions, it has to be changed to the right. Substantial sturdiness was lost in doing this as the screws go directly into a soft wood instead of metal screw inserts, and now the screws cannot be tightened to strength.
