DOESN’T FIT TWIN MATTRESS I have been buying online for years and never taken the time to write a review but this seem illogical enough that I’m writing my first review. This bed wasn’t too terrible to put together, it looks nice with the other furniture in the set, etc. However, I don’t know why or how this company would market this product as a Twin bed when it doesn’t fit a standard Twin mattress (4 inches too long so there is a huge gap) but also just an inch too short for a Twin XL. Mattresses are standard sizes…

great first child’s bed This bed is very attractive and looks just like the picture shown if you are looking at with its headboard up against the wall. I was dissapointed to find that the back of the headboard is very ugly and looks like cardboard. But for the price its worth it. Much assembly required, great results! This was a gift for my grandmother for Christmas as her current box spring and mattress were sitting on an unfinished 2×4 platform. Even though a box spring isn’t needed she likes the height with it added so we kept it. Assembly took about an hour and a half with two people (me mainly reading directions and my husband doing most of the piecing together.)
