Could Have Killed One of Our Girls This bed could have killed one of my children. Within days of putting it together we saw that little things were breaking, like latches on the stair cabinets. We weren’t happy but we figured it would be a hassle to return so we just overlooked it. We told the girls to just be very careful with the beds as they weren’t high quality. The bed we were looking for! We bought this bed for our 3-1/2 year old about 4 months ago. Overall the design is perfect for this age and many more years to come. Installation was about twice the time stated, mostly due to having said little helper there with us. But it was easy. We bought up thin mattress from the local mattress store for about $100 and it gave the warm and fuzzy that she wouldn’t roll over the side panel. She loves this bed. We love this bed. We got this bed for of daughter because she has a very small room and we wanted to free up some floor space for her. It is really good quality and wasn’t too difficult to put together. Kids do have to watch their heads when coming out from underneath of it, but other then that they love it. I love the extra storage in the stairs as well.
