Excellent Gate for a Puppy and Later Dog – if first time installing, read the directions and take your time Using this for a puppy to contain so providing from that perspective. Quality construction as it will hold back a puppy (and later dog – 60-70 lbs) and a child. It is a taller gate compared to others so will work for a long time and easier to open and close (no bending over). Works great, but a little bit ugly. I have purchased this gate in the extra tall height as well as the standard height. Functionally, I have nothing bad to say about it. The motion is smooth, the bars are durable, and so far no one has gotten pinched when opening or closing it.I do have 2 minor complaints: the nuts that are used to secure the adjustable sizing on the hinge and stop bolts do not hold tight. I used a drop of thread locker on the stopper bolts and just didn’t use the nuts on the hinge side, which…
