Support hardware not wide enough. We had to make adjustments in the rail holes. I don’t know if it was due to the headboard/footboard or the rails. However, the set of 2 support wires were not near long enough. They measure 50.5″ and a full size mattress set is 54″. Included were an additional set of 2 support wires for a twin size bed. They are also not wide enough. They measure 36.75″ and a twin mattress set measures 39″. Even if they had been wide enough, I would not rely on the support of only 2…

Cheapest but Needs Reinforcement I bought this to convert my son’s crib into a full size bed. The rails do not come with any screws or bolts so I had to buy those separately. Also the cross bars are not expandable; so based on the headboard you are using, the rails may be too far apart to use the cross bars. I ended up purchasing 1″ x 3″ boards that I had cut and bolted into the holes intended for the cross rails. Probably a better solution anyway! The cross rods are nothing more than a 1/4″ round bar – not too…
